Teghut
On the crossroads of Dilijan and Ijevan
Teghut is a small village in the Tavush region, located on the left bank of the Aghstev River a few kilometers northeast of Dilijan. The Teghut community was founded in 1925 and was considered one of the districts of the village of Jarkhech (now Haghartsin). On November 5 1993 Teghut became an independent settlement.

Haghartsin
On the way to the holy monastery
Haghartsin is one of the oldest villages in the Tavush region, located 11 km northeast of Dilijan, on the left bank of the Aghstev River. Nearby (2 km to the west) is the village of Teghut, which was previously one of the districts of modern Haghartsin. Mount Yeghegnasar (2670 m) rises above the village, and in its close proximity, one of the main sights of Armenia is located.

Gosh
Gosh: Following the footsteps of an outstanding thinker Mkhitar Gosh
Gosh is an ancient village in the Tavush region, on the left tributary of the Getik River. It is known for one of the main attractions of Armenia its medieval monastery complex Goshavank.

Aghavnavank
In the lap of majestic nature of the Tavush region
Aghavnavank is a village in the Tavush region, located on both sides of the Getik River. It’s a tiny but incredibly picturesque village, characterized by a contrasting mountain landscape. Aghavnavank is surrounded by majestic rocks and mountain ranges on almost all sides.

Hovk
The gateway to heaven
Hovk is a small village in the Tavush region, it is 25 km from Dilijan and 12 km from the regional capital, the city of Ijevan. Hovk is the highest mountain village of the Dilijan community, located at an altitude of 1,190 m above sea level. Locals call this place the “gateway to heaven” since here you can literally touch the clouds.

Khachardzan
Picturesque valleys and pastoral landscape
Khachardzan is a small, mountainous village in the Tavush region, located at the mouth of the Khachardzan River. It is located at an altitude of 1,050 m above sea level and is characterized by picturesque mountain and meadow landscapes. Khachardzan is located next to Aghavnavank, so the landscapes and natural wealth of these villages may seem identical.
